“Tom has helped a great deal with the development of my cello playing! He always put a unique spin on our lessons, looking into not only the techniques and practical side but the way the music is felt and the character of the piece. Tom helped me prepare for my ABRSM grade 8, and he made the process of going into the exam much easier, telling me how to create balance and structure whilst adding so much expression. Tom's really easy to get along with and is very patient and calm, making the lessons really enjoyable”
"Our boys have really enjoyed their sessions with Tom. They have fully engaged with Tom's style of teaching and look forward to each session. He makes learning fun and links to songs and things they already know and can recall. Tom makes each piece they are learning into a story so they can visualise a journey as the notes unfold. We are very happy that we found Tom for our boys."
